Understanding Your Treatment Options
Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care is a regulated health profession that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the spine, joints, and nervous system. At Dr. Beth’s Chiropractic Clinic, we take time to understand your full health picture before recommending any course of care.
Our practitioners bring decades of combined experience and use gentle, low-force techniques suited to patients of all ages — from children and seniors to active adults and post-surgical patients.

Diverse Methods for Optimal Results
The ArthroStim is a precision adjusting instrument that delivers a precise, controlled impulse to targeted joints. It produces rapid, gentle thrusts — about 12 per second — that move joints through their natural range of motion without twisting or cracking. The Activator Method uses a small, spring-loaded handheld instrument to deliver similarly gentle, targeted impulses. Each technique is instrument-assisted, low-force, and appropriate for patients of all ages.
This technique is particularly well-suited for patients who are uncomfortable with traditional manipulation, seniors, those with osteoporosis, post-surgical patients, and anyone who prefers a softer, more measured approach to care.
Especially suitable for:
- Patients new to chiropractic care
- Seniors and those with reduced bone density
- Post-surgical or post-injury recovery
- Children and individuals with adjustment anxiety
- Those who prefer instrument-based treatment

Activator Methods
Activator Methods is one of the most widely researched chiropractic techniques in the world. It uses a small, hand-held spring-loaded instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver a quick, low-force impulse to the spine or extremity joints.
Dr. Cote assesses the full spine using leg-length analysis and a series of provocation tests, then addresses each area in a specific sequence. This methodical approach is highly reproducible and well-tolerated by patients of all ages.
Especially suitable for:
- Patients who prefer a consistent, systematic protocol
- Those with acute or chronic low back pain
- Neck pain and headache sufferers
- Patients seeking a no-cracking approach
- Individuals of all ages, including seniors

Advanced Non-Invasive Therapy
BioFlex Laser Therapy
BioFlex Laser Therapy uses low-intensity laser light to stimulate cellular repair and reduce inflammation — a process known as photobiomodulation (PBM). The technology is Health Canada approved and has been used clinically for decades.
During a BioFlex session, a flexible array of laser diodes is positioned directly over the treatment area. The light energy penetrates deeply into tissue, triggering biological responses that accelerate the body’s natural healing process — without heat, discomfort, or downtime.
Conditions treated with BioFlex:
- Soft tissue injuries — muscle strains, ligament sprains, tendonitis
- Joint conditions and reduced mobility
- Post-surgical healing support
- Sports injuries and repetitive strain
- Chronic pain and inflammatory conditions
- Neuropathy and nerve-related discomfort
