Non-invasive, clinically proven photobiomodulation therapy that accelerates tissue healing, reduces inflammation, and relieves pain at the cellular level — without drugs or surgery.
Photobiomodulation Therapy
What Is BioFlex Laser Therapy?
BioFlex Laser Therapy is a form of photobiomodulation (PBM) — a scientifically validated treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair processes. Unlike surgical lasers that cut or ablate tissue, BioFlex uses low-level therapeutic light energy to penetrate deeply into tissue and trigger the body’s own healing mechanisms at the mitochondrial level.
Dr. Beth’s Chiropractic Clinic is proud to be one of the few clinics in the Collingwood and Georgian Bay area offering BioFlex technology — a Canadian-developed system with over three decades of clinical research and thousands of peer-reviewed studies behind it. Treatments are comfortable, non-thermal, and completely safe for most patients.
BioFlex Laser Therapy pairs exceptionally well with instrument-assisted adjustments and Activator Method care — combining structural correction with tissue-level healing for results that last.
What to Expect During Treatment
BioFlex treatments are relaxing and painless. A flexible array of therapeutic LEDs and a focused laser probe are applied directly to the skin over the affected area. You may feel a gentle warmth, or nothing at all. Session length varies depending on the area being treated and the nature of your condition.
Many patients report noticeable lasting comfort and optimal health after just 3–5 sessions. For chronic conditions, a course of 10–20 treatments is typically recommended to achieve lasting tissue repair. The number of sessions needed depends on the age and severity of your injury.
